Term 3 of our Italian Level 3 course builds on the language studied on our Italian Level 2 course and on Terms 1 & 2 of Italian Level 3.

Classes run every Tuesday Evening from 7.15pm to 9.00pm from 22nd April 2025 for 10 weeks (excluding half term)

Summary

Our Italian Level 3 course is an intermediate course. Learners joining this course will have ideally completed the Italian Level 2 course with us or will have previous experience of studying the Italian language for two years. The course is fun and interactive. Although emphasis is on speaking and listening so that you will be able to communicate in every day contexts, you will build on your reading and writing skills in Italian too.

You'll be encouraged to work in pairs or small groups, as well participate in whole class activities. There will be role-plays, activities based on common scenarios and you will study intermediate grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation.

This course will take place over 10 weeks and is Term 3 of a 3 Term Course. This means that the full Italian Level 3 course takes place over 30 weeks in total.

Payment

Once you have completed your application form to join the course, you will be contacted by a member of the Evening Class Team to make your payment via BACS. We will hold your place up to 7 days to allow you to make your payment.

Concessionary rates are available only to those who are full time students and those we are in receipt of unemployment benefits. Evidence of your status will be requested by a member of the Evening Class Team, before payment is taken.

The deadline for all payments and therefore bookings will be ***Monday 24th March 2025 (unless the class is already fully booked at this point).

Our courses are popular and often oversubscribed so we advise you to book your place as soon as possible.

Outcomes

This intermediate level course will introduce you to further tenses and more complex structures in the target language. By the end of this course you should be able to give reasons and explanations for opinions and plans, describe experiences and write connected text. Your course will cover topics such as: · Revision and extension of topics in Level 1 and Level 2 · Describing how things used to be and what you used to do in the past · Your ideal holiday and how you would like things to be · Describing your favourite films or other leisure activities and making comparisons
