This course covers themes of topical interest, mutually negotiated between tutor and course participants. The course is entirely taught in the target language. The course content will be tailored to learners’ needs and interests and is likely to cover topical issues as they arise, such as current affairs or news items. The focus is on maintaining advanced conversational skills with some reading/listening material used as a basis for oral practice and some written work undertaken for homework.

This course will take place over 10 weeks and is Term 1 of a 3 Term Course (terms 2 and 3 will be offered later in the academic year). This means that the full Arabic Advanced course takes place over 30 weeks in total. Catch up classes will take place if the teacher is unable to make their original scheduled class at the end of the term. Refunds will only be given if the teacher is unable to give a replacement class in the Catch up Class week.

Concessionary rates are available only to those who are full time students and those we are in receipt of unemployment benefits. Evidence of your status will be requested by a member of the Evening Class Team, before payment is taken.

You can pay for one term (10 weeks) or save £30 and pay for the entire academic year in advance (30 weeks). See costs below. The deadline for all payments and therefore bookings will be 48 hours after you have made your booking (otherwise your booking will be cancelled).
