Our French A Level Class will take place over 25 weeks in Year Two. You must have a Grade B or a 6 at GCSE and ideally have taken the A Level Year One Course with us.

Classes run every Wednesday Evening from 6.30pm to 9.00pm from 28th September 2022 for 25 weeks (excluding school holidays).

Summary

Our French A Level course Year 2 is designed for learners who too A Level Year 1 with us or have recent relevant experience of studying the language at this level. It is a fast paced course to allow the full A Level content to be covered with only one class per week. The course will follow the themes and grammar required of the AQA A Level syllabus.

There will be the opportunity to practise the four skills of reading, writing, listening and speaking, in preparation for the A2 Exams. Focus will also be on the topic specific vocabulary and developing the translation skills required for the reading and writing exams too. At A Level there is also the requirement to write critical essays on both literature and film. The A Level Year Two course will include study of a novel from the set list.

This course will take place over 25 weeks, with learners having the opportunity to take the A Level Exams in Summer 2023. The fee for this class includes exam entry costs but does not include the AQA Textbook which will need to be purchased separately.

Once you have completed your application form to join the course, you will be contacted by a member of the Evening Class Team to make your payment via WorldPay with your debit or credit card. We will hold your place up to 7 days to allow you to make your payment.

There are no concessionary rates for this course. However please contact us if you wish to discuss paying in installments.

The deadline for all payments and therefore bookings will be Friday 16th September 2022 (unless the class is already fully booked at this point).
