1 day add on program for those new to QLD underground coal. Includes practical assessment of CABA changeover in simulated roadway. Must supply current Std11 Surface certificate (6 units) as part of booking process.

Summary

Important Notice to Underground people: Section [s272] of the Coal Mining Safety and Health Act 1999 states that a person under the age of 16 years is not permitted to be employed underground

Standard 11 is a requirement for the Queensland Coal mines which is also to be refreshed every five (5) years.

Pre-requisites: Std11 Surface evidence. This is either the Statement of Attainment (SoA) from within past 4 years or it can be the Statement of Completion (SoC) from within the past 6 months.

If you have current or recent experience of working underground in the resource sector in NSW, talk to us about your eligibility to sit the refresher instead.

The SoA is awarded on successful completion of the day & you have supplied your Surface SoA. A SoC will be issued if you have only supplied us with your Surface SoC - when you obtain your Surface SoA advise us so we can release your Underground add on SoA.

Certification is emailed 2-3 working days after payment and USI details are finalised.
